A truly outstanding dancer, choreographer and musician/songwriter, Steven Mitchell is widely credited with helping bring lindy hop back to the forefront of social dancing. He has taught all over the world for the past 15 years, inspiring a whole generation of lindy hoppers with his incredible versatility, energy and style. Among his many other credits, Steven has appeared on National TV dancing at the White House for Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Virginie Jensen has over 20 years of dance experience that includes Jazz, Classical Ballroom, Swing, Ballet, Franketti School of Dance, Harlem School of Classical Ballroom, and Arcadance School. She began teaching Ballet and Ballroom at the age of 16, and has performed Ballroom and Jazz professionally for several years. Virginie began teaching lindy hop in 1997, and in 1999 she paired up with Steven Mitchell to teach full-time internationally. Known for her unique style, humor, spinning and connection, Virginie draws from her extensive dance experience to teach grace, frame and flash to the followers.
